1. Agreement

By using GottaGetThatGist.com or any of its services (TheSweetCard, TheSweetScore, TheSweetSpotlight, TheSweetSpot, TheSweetGist) you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada.

2. Who Can Use Our Services

• You must be 18 years of age or older
• You must be a resident of Canada to use TheSweetCard
• You must provide accurate information when registering
• One account per person — no duplicate accounts

3. TheSweetCard — Tenant Terms

• TheSweetCard is free and available to Canadian tenants only
• You must be actively renting a residential property in Canada to qualify
• Providing false tenancy information to obtain verification is fraud and may result in immediate account termination and reporting to authorities
• Your card number and QR code are personal — do not share them with others
• SweetPoints have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts
• We reserve the right to adjust the points system with 30 days notice
• Discounts are set by individual partner retailers — we do not guarantee specific discount amounts

4. TheSweetCard — Retailer Terms

• Retailers must operate a legitimate registered business in Canada
• Retailers must honour the discount they committed to when joining
• Retailers may only view card status and last 4 digits — any attempt to collect additional tenant information is a violation of these terms and Canadian privacy law
• Retailers may be removed from the network at any time for failing to honour discounts or misusing tenant data
• Retailer portal access is non-transferable

5. Digital Products — TheSweetScore

• All digital product sales are final — no refunds except where required by Canadian consumer protection law
• Our immigration guides are for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal immigration advice
• We recommend consulting a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) for personalized immigration guidance
• You may not resell, redistribute, or share purchased digital products

6. Affiliate Program

• Affiliates must promote our products honestly and accurately
• False claims about our products or guaranteed results are prohibited
• Affiliate commissions are paid through Gumroad on a schedule determined by Gumroad's payment terms
• We reserve the right to terminate affiliate accounts for misleading promotion
• Affiliates are independent — they are not employees or agents of Capricorner Inc.

7. Content & Intellectual Property

• All content on GottaGetThatGist.com is owned by Capricorner Inc.
• You may share our articles with credit and a link back — you may not reproduce full articles without permission
• TheSweetCard, TheSweetScore, TheSweetGist, TheSweetSpot, TheSweetSpotlight and GottaGetThatGist are trademarks of Capricorner Inc.

8. Prohibited Conduct

• Using false identity or fraudulent documents to obtain TheSweetCard verification
• Sharing your card QR code with non-tenants to obtain discounts
• Attempting to hack, scrape or disrupt our systems
• Posting spam or misleading content in our newsletter or community
• Using our affiliate program to make false income claims

9. Disclaimers

Our content is for informational purposes only. Immigration guides are not legal advice. Property management articles are not professional advice. We are not responsible for decisions made based on our content. Always consult qualified professionals for legal, financial and immigration matters.

10. Limitation of Liability

Capricorner Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of our services. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by emailing support@gottagetthatgist.com. Upon deletion we will remove your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as our services grow. We will notify registered users by email of material changes with 30 days notice. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Alberta.
